- 2.0 out of 5 stars from G. Thunder -- The characters are meh : The story is okay but it really doesn't have any substance to it. The characters are weirdly written as in they feel like NPCs. The MC is passive aggressive and it is annoying, no one bothers to think beyond just going with the flow. You are a history teacher and you see the world falling out of order and you never expected or prepared yourself to kill to keep your family safe? They had access to an intergalactic trade shop and no one bothered to look for new weapons and armor or skills or food nothing? Or look for their mother which they haven't seen or heard from in over a month. I stopped reading at 50% waste of money. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021 )

For me the idea is so unrealistic I think the exercise is a waste of time but even if I didn’t I enjoy action, character progression and town building far more. Some minor editing issues like some others have said but I didn't think they were that bad and didn't effect readability. The litrpg elements are fun and it is not the typical post-apocalyptic setting which was a breath of fresh air. Was worth the buy/read in my opinion and looking forward to a second book.
